The multifloral honey from the Reserva Conchal Apiary won the gold medal in the Quality category at the 2026 London Honey Awards.
This is one of the world’s leading beekeeping competitions.
This recognition positions Costa Rica on the international stage of the beekeeping industry and marks the second consecutive year that this honey has received an award.
The competition featured more than 340 honeys from over 30 countries. The Quality category evaluates appearance, aroma, texture, and flavor through blind tastings.
“This recognition reflects a vision of sustainability that we have built over the years and demonstrates that biodiversity conservation can also lead to products of excellence,” said Gabriela Meza, Sustainability Manager at Reserva Conchal.
