The most expected feasts by the community of Palmares and the rest of the country, thanks to their social development, are taking place on January 11th-23rd.
Food stands, concerts, a horse parade, bull rides, cultural performances, fireworks, among other fun activities, are responsible for satisfying the visitors, to become once more the best feasts in the country.
The feasts will cover an area of about eight apples, where the food stands, amusement rides and bars will be installed.
The Civic Association of Palmares, organizer of the activity, expects an average attendance of more than 800.000 people in the days of these celebrations.
Voices that will warm up the stages in Palmares
This edition will have the participation of the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Don Omar, who will delight his followers in the first massive concert of the celebration, on January 15th, which is having the support of 170 members of private security.
The production is having space for 15.000 people and the only way to buy tickets is to have the pre-paid mobile service of the company Fullmovil, according to information gathered by La Nacion.
The Ranchero Festival isn’t left behind, so the international guest is the Mexican singer Pedro Aguilar, who is singing in the stage of Palmares on January 14th, in the bull arena, and is part of the list of artists such as: Pablo Montero, Ana Barbara and Cristian Castro, who have participated in past editions of the festival.
Safety for everyone
The feasts will have more than 500 private security members filtering the entrances to the fairground to reduce the risk of
criminal behavior and disturbances, this because in past editions there has been a large number of victims.
The Red Cross will also be present in these feasts, covering the fairground as well as the roads San Jose-Palmares and Palmares-San Jose, so you can have a nice and safe time along with your family and friends, enjoying what Palmares 2012 has for you.
People come in masses to Palmares to visit the bars, restaurants, bullfights and the fair.
