Nadya Ruiz, Marketing Director at Ingenium, has been awarded the prestigious Sorority and Collaborative Leadership Award at the 2026 MTT Awards in Bogotá, Colombia.
Organized by Mujeres en Tecnología que Transforman (MTT), the annual initiative celebrates outstanding female talent, leadership, and impactful contributions across the Latin American technology ecosystem.
Ruiz was among a delegation of seven Costa Rican women nominated across various categories in this year’s regional event, which gathered tech professionals from across Latin America to foster community and share industry achievements.
Driving Innovation in Critical Infrastructure
At Ingenium—a regional leader in data center design and critical infrastructure engineering—Ruiz plays a central role in positioning solutions essential to digital transformation across Latin America.
“Receiving this recognition in the Sorority and Collaborative Leadership category fills me with joy, especially because of the opportunity to share this experience with women from different countries who have admirable life stories, achievements, and career paths,” said Ruiz.
“These spaces serve as a reminder that we can grow professionally while continuing to support one another, learn from each other, and celebrate everyone’s accomplishments. When we share our experiences and create opportunities for other women, we also help build a more collaborative industry.”
Championing Collaboration and Regional Growth
Throughout the summit, Ruiz emphasized the value of mentorship, shared knowledge, and executive support systems for women navigating the tech sector.
She extended special recognition to Carolina Cortés, CEO of the International Computer Room Experts Association (ICREA), with whom she shares an ongoing commitment to building collaborative networks for female leaders. She also credited Ingenium for supporting her professional growth and active involvement in industry initiatives.
“I am taking back much more than an award: I am leaving with meaningful conversations, new connections, and the joy of having met women I admire for their stories and what they are building,” added Ruiz.
