The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Spanish Civil Guard arrested a Costa Rican-owned bike that came from Costa Rica to the Madrid airport with nearly a kilo of liquid cocaine hidden inside.
The drug was found in Madrid’s Barajas airport within several condoms hidden in the bike, which was in transit between Costa Rica and Milan.
The officials responsible for inspecting baggage detected a “big bag” and proceeded to locate the owner in the transit area of the T4 terminal, a press release said.
Inside the bag they found a bicycle “with foreign objects inside the box.”
Cutting tubes of the bike frame, they found fourteen harbored condoms with a liquid substance inside, which, according to an agent was cocaine with a weight of 860 grams. (EFE)
