U.S. and Costa Rica Coast Guard Intercept Boat Transporting Narcotics

    [TCRN] – U.S. authorities along with the Coast Guard intercepted a speedboat in international waters approximately 100 miles from Puerto Limon Costa Rica, suspected of transporting narcotics.

    Ministry of Public Security made a statement saying could be carrying cocaine or marijuana (high network), but still cannot confirm since this happened off the coast of Costa Rica, adding the suspects began throwing packages in the ocean.

    The boat was carrying three Costa Ricans and three Nicaraguans. The six subjects were placed under arrest.

    The authorities believe the suspects used the Jamaica-Costa Rica transportation route to bring the narcotics in.
