A strong campaign within their country will be carried out by Saudi Arabia to promote Costa Rica as a tourist destination. This was confirmed by Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Saudi Arabia’s head of Communication and Foreign Trade, during a meeting with Arnoldo André, Costa Rican Foreign Minister.
“I want Saudi television to know the country brand of Costa Rica, so that more people from our region visit their country and investment is promoted through new projects,” said Dr. Al-Qasabi.
Increasing cooperation and investment
He also asked the country for a list of projects with the purpose of increasing cooperation and investment. The Costa Rican foreign minister announced that there is a will to activate embassies in Saudi Arabia and Costa Rica in the coming months.
