Saprissa’s David Ramirez Joins Former Teammate Yeltsin Tejada in France for the Next 6 Months

The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Costa Rica’s David Ramirez will play for France’s Evian FC Club on a trial basis for the next six months with an option to stay on permanently.

Today Deportivo Saprissa of Costa Rica announced the departure of the 21-year-old for the French football club, where he will play alongside fellow midfielder, Yeltsin Tejeda.

Ramirez, 1.75 meters tall, made his debut with Saprissa in August 2013 and has since scored 14 goals in the first division.

The player, who was trained in the minor leagues with Saprissa has already been called to the national team of Costa Rica on several occasions, including last year’s American Cup and other friendly matches.

Saprissa did not release his contract amount with the French team. (ACAN-EFE)
