“Pura Vida Bar Show”is coming to Costa Rica for the first time as an event dedicated to high-end mixology, with the aim of promoting and raising awareness of the growth of this industry in the country. The event will bring together national and international experts, innovative ideas, and experiences that promise to mark a turning point in local gastronomy.
The event will take place from February 21 to 27, and the different venues where each activity will be held will be announced in the coming days.
The initiative will feature renowned international mixologists from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Panama, who will share their experiences, knowledge, and creativity with local talent. In addition, the event will be supported by a portfolio of international brands such as Kavalan Whisky, The Macallan, Fernet Branca, Tequila Espolón, Appleton Rum, and Mezcal Los Danzantes.
“Pura Vida Bar Show”will be structured around three main themes: education and professional training; Costa Rican culture and hospitality; and creativity as an expression of local identity.
During the day, the event will offer a robust agenda that will include talks, panels, workshops, tastings, masterclasses, and brand exhibitions, focused on the professionalization of the sector, innovation, and responsible consumption.
In the evening, the experience will extend to different parts of the city with guest bartenders and takeovers at key bars, where the public will have the opportunity to enjoy signature cocktails created by national and international mixologists.
Participants will enjoy benefits such as national and international exposure, new traffic for bars and restaurants, presence on social media, press and official event guides, as well as networking opportunities with industry leaders.
For his part, Marco Roldán, Brand Manager at Alpiste, points out that Pura Vida Bar Show was created with the intention of establishing a platform that promotes the growth of mixology in Costa Rica, connecting it with international references and generating real value for the entire chain: bartenders, bars, and consumers.
Roldán adds that the event is not just about showcasing brands, but also about sharing knowledge, creating opportunities for learning, and raising professional standards in the sector.
