Vice President, Luis Liberman and Minister of Education, Leonardo Garnier
San Jose [TCRN] – The Legislature lowers the tone toward the resolution by the President of the Republic, Laura Chinchilla, on the report from the Office of Ethics which states that the Vice President, Luis Liberman and Minister of Education, Leonardo Garnier, committed ethics violations in the public by issuing letters of recommendation.

However, deputies say they will not be idle and will discuss what actions to take.

Also being discussed is Fiscal Transparency, Strengthening Public Finance Act and the controversy Eurobonds. The three initiatives are ready to be voted on first reading. Before the break, the deputies also left pending approval at second reading of the Traffic Act and the election of the Comptroller General of the Republic.
