La Fortuna of San Carlos was positioned as the “Best travel destination in the world” according to online tourist survey websites that provide users with travel-related reviews and opinions written by travelers directly.
The list of destinations was made up of ten destinations worldwide and the choice was based on the local activities and experiences offered by each place, as well as on impartial evaluations or comments given by the tourists themselves.
In the information provided, La Fortuna managed to rank itself in first place thanks to the diversity it offers to each of the visitors who arrive daily.
The practice of rafting and canyoning in the Cañon Perdido and the observation of sloths were the most outstanding activities and evaluated positively by travelers in the Tico territory.
