Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau left Costa Rican territory on Saturday after having enjoyed the waves in the Central Pacific.

Trudeau said he was “fascinated” with the country and said he will return, said the pilot Everardo Carmona, owner of the CarmonAir Charter line and responsible for returning the president to the Juan Santamaría International Airport (AIJS) in Alajuela.

«He came to surf, happy of life. To spend the end of the year with his family (his wife Sophie Grégoire, and their children Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien) and what he was sharing with them, “said the aviator in a telephone conversation with The Observer.

“He was fascinated with the country. That he returns is what he says”, he added.

Carmona highlighted the kindness, sympathy, and humility shown by the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, in the 25 minutes they shared on their return to the international terminal.

The pilot reserved the exact location in which Trudeau vacationed, although the social networks of the Hacienda Okrah project located him in Mal País de Cóbano, Puntarenas.

Early on the day of his arrival, the Canadian press speculates on the prime minister’s trip. His agenda then marked a trip “for personal reasons” to the country.

On April 13, 2018, Trudeau spoke via telephone with then-elected president Carlos Alvarado. In the talk, both talked about Costa Rica’s tropical landscapes, as well as issues such as climate change and human rights.

Also, the exchange was provided for the ruler to express his admiration for the Canadian rock band, Rush; of which he said he would like to visit the national territory, together with the prime minister, for the Bicentennial celebrations.

“I will be waiting to celebrate with you two hundred years for Costa Rica”, Trudeau responded at that moment.

Similarly, former President Luis Guillermo Solís (2014-2018) formally invited the US ruler to come to the national territory, during a bilateral meeting in which the possibility of softening the requirements for Costa Ricans requesting a visa to visit was discussed. Canada. The meeting was held on September 20, 2017, in New York, United States; but so far, Trudeau has not made an official visit.
