The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Crocs Casino Resort in Jaco seeks to fill 300 jobs for its new operation, which is scheduled to start on December 15.
To fill these jobs they will conduct two job fairs, one in Jacó, on Saturday the 24th of this month from 10 am to 5 pm, at the hotel.
The other hiring event will be the following Saturday of this month, May 31, in San Jose at the former hotel Torremolinos in Savannah, also from 10 am to 5 pm
Alicia Repetto, Manager of Marketing and Public Relations for the hotel, explained that his client seeks to staff different areas, such as the casino, restaurants, maintenance, cleaning, reception and customer service, among others.
The eligibility requirements are to be of age, be Costa Rican or if the person is a foreigner, you must have residence. And, of course, speak English (advanced knowledge necessary for some areas such as casino, reception and customer service).
The representative indicated that the building of 26,000 square meters currently generates 500 jobs during the construction stage, which began 18 months ago. The hotel will have 152 rooms and a convention center of 5,000 square meters and is located on the seafront.
