Business Insider recently published a list of the best 20 hotels in the world, and a hotel in Costa Rica received top honors.

To create the ranking, Business Insider used rankings and data from other publications and websites such as Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Hotels, Conde Nast Traveler’s Top 100 Hotels and Resorts, TripAdvisor’s Top 25 Hotels in the World, Fodor’s 100 Hotel Awards and JetSetter’s Best of the Best Awards.

The Nayara Hotel: Spa and Gardens, near the Arenal Volcano, with its natural beauty and level of service placed third on the list. The Nayara was the only Central American hotel to land on the list. Other top locations included such exotic destinations as South America, Caribbean Islands, India and Hungary, among others.

According to the rankings, the Costa Rican hotel received its place due to its majestic location, replete with emerald green forests and tropical gardens, with a view of the volcano. Every room is equipped with a private terrace and Jacuzzi from which to enjoy the spectacular views.
