Ticket prices for the Shakira concert at the Costa Rica National Stadium will be: ¢62,000, ¢41,000, ¢31,200 and ¢15,600, reported by the event producers this morning at the news conference. Her concert is one in a series of events to inaugurate the new National Stadium that was built and donated by the government of China.
Tickets for the April 10 Shakira concert will be sold after midnight on February 7 at www.laboleteria.co.cr, and later the same day at these stores: Adidas, Planet, October 1954.
Besides the Shakira concert, the inauguration of the National Stadium will also include a concert with the National Music Center Orchestra on March 30, a popular dance music concert to be held in the grass of the stadium on April 1, and a national music festival on April 2.
Gustavo Pacheco, JBQ representative, commented that the lineup of artists for the festival will have at least 20 groups consisting of rock, ska and new music of Costa Rica, among others. Malpais, Akasha and Editus have already been confirmed for the event. The entire lineup will be released later this week.
