Costa Rica President Laura Chinchilla San Jose [TCRN] – Costa Rica President Laura Chinchilla will speak at a Panama summit that is organized by the International Telecommunication Union and the American Telecommunication Commission, an agency of the Organization of American States, and the Panamanian government headed by President Ricardo Martinelli.
The event is being held at the Atlapa convention center with an official ceremony where of Costa Rica President Laura Chinchilla will be a keynote speaker.
Through focus groups, participants will address the problems in the economies of developing countries to enhance information technology and communication.
Also to be discussed are projects on infrastructure development to bring broadband to under serviced communities, initiatives to reduce costs of Internet access, capacity building to implement the information and communication technologies to education, care health and entrepreneurship.
