Nutty News: Stowaway Squirrel Catches Flight From Costa Rica to Houston

    Southwest Airlines had a surprising and adorable stowaway on a flight going from Costa Rica to Houston earlier this month.

    A young squirrel managed to safely make the four hour journey to George Bush International Airport, where he was discovered by the crew as they prepared for the plane’s next flight. All the passengers had disembarked by the time it was found.

    The critter was captured by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials and placed in quarantine until they can find it a proper home.
