San Jose [TCRN] – Four earthquakes shook the Guanacaste area this morning, according to the automatic Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica.
The system recorded the first one and 12:46 midnight, with a magnitude of 2.9 degrees and a depth of 54 km and its epicenter was in Abangares.
The second earthquake was presented at La Cruz 1:24 a.m. with a magnitude of 3.3 degrees and a depth of 152 kilometers. This was a replica at 2:18 am with a magnitude of 2.9 degrees to a depth of 145 kilometers.
The fourth of these was in Santa Cruz with a magnitude of 3.2 degrees and a depth of 26 kilometers and occurred at 6:18 a.m.
