The Costa Rica News (TCRN) –The first regional Franchise Fair (Expo-Franquicias 2013) will soon take place in Costa Rica.  More than 8,000 investors interested in buying and selling franchises in Mexico, Uruguay, the United States, Spain and Panama are expected to attend.

The activity will be held on September 26 and 27 at the San Jose Herradura Wyndham Hotel.

Karol Fallas, director of the Franchise National Centre of the Costa Rican Commerce Chamber, explained that the success achieved in previous years in national fairs was the incentive to extend the exhibition in the region.

“Investors will have many opportunities to sell, buy or start a business or to position their brand,” added Francisco Llobet, president of the Chamber.

Anytime Fitness, National Bank, Quiznos CR, Ana Gutierrez Jewelry, Coldwell Banker, Franquicia506, Petcafé, The Green Olive, Postnet, Body Wrap, Clean and Clear, Vellísimo, Equivalenza, Tutu Bakeries and Pan-American Languages Center are some of the participant companies.

Mexico, Uruguay and Spain will also have a hall with exclusive franchises from each country. The fair will also count with the participation of several financial institutions who will present their financing plans for this type of business.

In addition, a Virtual Fair is available for participants to promote their products and services during several months.
