The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – At this time the authorities of the National Blood Bank report that all blood types are needed because the demand has increased in recent weeks by performing several organ transplants.
The Blood Bank insists that blood donation is usually lower at this time of year because the population is in vacation spots, so it is important that the Costa Ricans help by donating blood before they leave.
The Blood Bank will have their doors open until noon on Saturday, and will also open on December 23, 24, 26,27, 28 and 30 along with their normal schedule. The Blood Bank is located south of the Catholic church in the district of Zapote side in San Jose.
