    Costa Rica to invest $3 Million Seized in Drug Trafficking Back Into Law Enforcement

    San Jose – Costa Rican Drug Institute (ICD), the state agency that administers the assets seized in drug trafficking operation, said it will invest $ 3.1 million of seized assets back into its security force operations.

    The money will be used to fund safety programs, buy vehicles, computer equipment, and enhance communication technologies.

    The monies will be distributed among, the Drug Control Police (PCD), Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ), and Public Prosecutor division.
