San Jose [TCRN] – The Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE) will organize the Pro Life Sciences Forum 2013, one of the most important events in the medical industry in Latin America. The event will take place next year, from March 18th through March 20th at Centro de Convenciones of Hotel Ramada in San Jose Costa Rica.
The Life Sciences Forum 2013 Costa Rica seeks to bring together about 300 representatives from the medical industry such manufacturing companies, suppliers and key service providers, consulting firms, and industry experts.
These companies and providers belong to the medical areas of orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurovascular, endoscopy, cosmetic, sports medicine, dental, urology, women’s health, sports medicine, and others. Also, the forum will gather contractors, developers, distributors of raw materials and equipment, clean room specialists, consultants, universities, and other companies and institutions that offer services to the medical industry.
The Pro Life Sciences Forum 2013 will include discussion sessions, panels and conferences as well as visits to the production facilities of companies that currently operate in the country. Similarly, representatives of the Government and CINDE will discuss the competitive advantages of Costa Rica in the medical industry.
The event originates after the country has been, on several occasions, home to international forums of the medical industry, gathering a large group of senior executives of renowned companies.
This experience, coupled with the strong positioning of Costa Rica as the location of more than 41 companies, reaffirms the country’s potential as a place to meet and discuss the latest trends in the medical industry as well as create business alliances.
