The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The president of Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla, will attend the Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in Panama between the 18th and 19th of October, the government reported today in San Jose.
Costa Rican Minister of Communication, Carlos Roverssi, confirmed today at a press conference attended by Chinchilla, but said that they are still tweaking the president’s agenda. Roverssi president said the Summit will specify a proposal related to the main topics this year and will address business and economic development. The minister explained that the government keeps working on setting the agenda for the president at the Summit, including possible bilateral meetings with other leaders or officials.
According to organizers, it is expected that the Summit of Panama will debate on the political, economic, social and cultural development of the Latin American community in the context of the new world. (EFE)
