The Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) made several raids in the southern region and one in San Jose Costa Rica.
The raids are taking place to dismantle a gang linked to international drug trafficking.
According to statements given to Radio Watch by Francisco Segura, Acting Director of the IOJ has arrested seven people and has seized at least 40 kilos of cocaine, in connection to drug ring linked to a Mexican cartel.
Apparently the leader of this band is a Mexican, who is part of the famous Gulf Cartel. According to Segura is the key in the investigation.
