The largest festival of Techno and House music in Costa Rica, in the province of Tamarindo, Guanacaste, will be held for the fourth consecutive year. From January 9 to 13, 2020, the Nicoya Peninsula, on the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica, will witness the largest electronic music festival held in the country. And this year, the festival hopes to achieve a carbon-neutral footprint, according to a spokesperson for the event. This type of event attracts thousands of people, both local and foreign, who unite their enthusiasm for electronic music, in a heavenly place.
Who will be the artists that will perform?
One of the main artists to be presented will be the winner of the Melodic House and Techno category at the DJ Awards 2019: Maceo Plex “Artbat”, also the winner of the Breakthrough Artist award. Also, Äme, Doc Martin, Justin Martin, Magdalena, Shiba San, among others will perform and give a show for five days, to electronic music lovers, who will dance until sunset in paradise.
It is worth mentioning that the Ocaso (Sunset) festival has become a cornerstone in the world of electronic music festivals, specifically in the underground scene, in which attendees will enjoy a mystical trip between the beach and the Costa Rican jungle.
Paradisiacal festival with new food experiences
It should be noted that this year’s Underground Music Festival will stand out for its wide range of artists and musical genres, with the plus of having new food experiences. This gastronomic experience will be in charge of Chef Pablo Bonilla, of the restaurants Sikwa and Francisca in San José.
Bonilla will lead a team of chefs from Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Guatemala, El Salvador, and the United States along with the best local chefs in Costa Rica. Next, we will mention all the chefs who will participate in this important event:
