[TCRN] – The small aircraft that went missing this morning has been located 8 miles north of Tambor on the Nicoya Peninsula.
Paul Salmeron was traveling alone left Pavas at 6:00 am and had to arrive at 6:42 am at Punta Islita, Guanacaste, and lost contact around Puntarenas the plane crash was due to being lost in a cloud bank.
The Civil Aviation Authority, Red Cross and Air Surveillance began search and rescue operation. The pilot was found alive but the health status is unknown but reported “in very bad condition.”
