In the last decade, Latin America has shown tremendous growth supported by the strong economic and political reforms implemented during in the past 20 years, the region, even during a global meltdown, managed to show significant growth patterns throughout Latin America.
Global Centa- Millionaires (people worth $100 Million) has risen dramatically over the past decade. Latin America saw a 67% increase in centa- millionaires between 2006 and 2011, the largest per capita in the world, dominating North America which only saw a 6% increase over the same period. Projections from 2011 to 2016 predict show that Latin American will continue to lead globally with 60% with North America at 24%. (See graphic below from The Wealth Report 2012)
