The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Monday, December 15 is the deadline for filing your 2014 Costa Rica income tax. The Director of Taxation, Carlos Vargas, explained that the document should reflect the financial reality of people and companies received between October 1, 2013 and September 30, 2014, as well as expenses.
Failure to submit the this form could result in a fee (approximately ¢200,000) for this year plus interest depending on when the statement is received.
Tax returns are done through the EDDI 7 program, which can be downloaded from the Ministry’s website. (ADN)
