The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – For those looking to enjoy the bullfights this holiday season, ticket resellers or “scalpers” can be a quick and easy althernative for getting tickets.
Arley Anthony Aguilar, a reseller, said he is only charging an extra thousand colones for people to avoid lines.
“I come here early and buy the tickets, and I only sell five per person and sell them in the afternoon,” he said.
The official ticket price is 10,000 and some resellers sell up to 15,000.
Sergio Rodriguez, another reseller, said families prefer to buy from him to save them from having to wait in a 200 meter line.
“We come to see the bulls traditionally at night. I go with my mom, my sister and my aunt,” said Alexandra Chinchilla, a resident of San Pedro.
Graciela Aguilar Sanchez, another fan, said she loves the bulls comes with her family, her husband and his brothers.
“He bought from resellers to get us these great seats,” she said
