Government Awards Homes to 9,800 Costa Rican Families in Need

The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – This year the Banco Hipotecario de la Vivienda (BANHVI) awarded housing bonds for 9,800 needy families, representing an investment of ¢73.2 million.

The institution approved funding for 22 projects, among which are El Cacao in Santa Cruz de Guanacaste which will relocate 169 families; Boulevard del Sol III in Puntarenas for 60 families, and in Turrubares, which will benefit 54 families.

BANHVI also allocated ¢20.15 million to financial institutions of the National Financial System for Housing (SFV), whose objective is to finance home loans. (ADN)
