The epic Envision Festival took place this year from February 25th-29th.

This yearโ€™s yoga and movement zone at Envision Festival was the best yet; with international teachers like Sianna Shermand and Troy Hadeed, serenity was a guarantee. They built two beautiful yoga shalaโ€™s made out of permanent bamboo structures with a cozy comfortable, and shaded lounge area for relaxation.

Ashleigh Sargent and her team provided outstanding production. The festival was a great opportunity for beginners and seasoned practitioners to meet and learn from leading yoga teachers. There were a variety of workshops to choose from โ€” such as acro-yoga, dance, meditation and Tai Chi. Most workshops were packed with over 150 students. The entire space was substance free, and they offered an organic juice bar called GAIA. They also served fresh cold pressed juice supplied by Raw Co. as well as locally brewed kombucha by Jungle Mama and Bella Buch that one could enjoy after a workshop.

Each year, Envision Festival continues to grow and expand and is considered as one of the top 10 music festivals in the world we are excited to see what the production team will create for next year.

    From the Experts

    Why do you teach AcroYoga?

I love to teach AcroYoga because it’s a safe, fun and exciting way to create strength, trust and connection. It’s a movement practice that only requires two people with open hearts to play laugh and build safe communications and strong relationships.

What do you love about Envision Festival?

[quote_center]I have been to every single Envision festival. [/quote_center]

…so watching it evolve from a small festival into one of the largest festivals in Costa Rica has been a real blessing. The teamwork that has gone into this beautiful festival where people come from all over the world to enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica has been absolutely incredible. It creates a safe place to practice and teach AcroYoga. The yoga zone is a substance free zone where people of all ages can play. Plus, the amazing stages and music are a thing of beauty.[/td_text_with_title][td_text_with_title custom_title=”Orpheus B” custom_title_link=”http://orpheusb.com”]

    Why do you teach ?

I teach because I learned, observed, experienced and felt the difference. Once I felt confident in my skills and felt the necessity to deliver the knowledge and wisdom gained, I started teaching.

It took many years of training with masters of different modalities. It took time to become professional in what I do, and to feel confident in teaching it.

What do you love about Envision Festival?

Envision, for me, is a great stage as well as an eye-opener for many people who are curious about different lifestyle: a holistic lifestyle; natural, organic and raw.

    [quote_center]Costa Rica has raw energy.[/quote_center]

Envision give place to artists and educators and leaders to expose their knowledge, skills and arts. It’s a beautiful place for sharing, cultivating learning, yielding, practicing respect, creating intention for presence and care for self and others. The festival brings fun education music healing and arts into one melting pot for a long weekend.

    Bless it![/td_text_with_title][td_text_with_title custom_title=”Nicole Gayatri “]

Why do you teach Unleash Your Inner Goddess Workshop?

My goal in creating the Unleash Your Inner Goddess Workshop series is to help women (and men) connect more deeply to their divine feminine wisdom. Many societies look down on this sort of connection, but I think it is one of the most important aspects of healing ourselves at this time.

This workshop specifically begins with a sacred movement chakra alignment, to purify and draw up the feminine energy within. We chant mantras as we move with eyes closed for a powerful transformational experience. After some journaling we shift gears and encourage this new connection to be embodied and released via a burlesque dance sequence, complete with costumes and props.

[quote_center]During this portion of the workshop the focus becomes how we can love our bodies more deeply, to see ourselves as captivating and magical beings. [/quote_center]

How can we fall in love with every inch of this temple that we walk through life in, letting go of old stories surrounding how we look? I teach this workshop to help people shine their light more brightly and to encourage others to do the same.

What do you love about Envision Festival?

I love that Envision Festival brings so many amazing people together from around the world to co-create, learn, and find ways to be more heart-centered & earth conscious. It encourages people to connect with one another, the earth, and healing. The presenters and performers continue to blow my mind each year. The educational workshops, yoga classes, and music make it something that I really look forward to![/td_text_with_title]
