The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Argentinean chefs in Buenos Aires created a pizza that’s 50 meters in length, the longest amassed so far in the city, with the aim of raising funds to benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Argentina (ASDRA).
Popular Corrientes Avenue was transformed into a large kitchen with a special oven to bake the pizza, that according to estimates by organizers sold over 2,000 sponsorship ‘pieces’ at the price of 5 pesos (about half a dollar).
The money raised will be donated to ASDRA, through the Department of Corporate Social Responsibility, according to the organization in a statement (EFE).
