Located in South Pacific Costa Rica and close to Marino Ballena National Park, Uvita is a perfect place to stay and explore several places around this area.
Located in the middle of the jungle and with a spectacular view of the ocean, the Hotel Pacific Dream is a pure oasis to stay at. The Swiss couple, Dana and Jan, built their own paradise at this beautiful place. The hotel is very private and offers two rooms which both have their own bathroom, fridge, A/C, ventilator, safe and cable tv. If you need more space, one room is bigger and even has a walk-in closet.
Besides these amenities, there is a kitchen outside where you can cook and listen to the noisy jungle and the ocean. The view from the patio is breathtaking and if you want to relax at the hotel rather than the beach, there is a pool from which you can enjoy the sunset as well.
In the morning, you get a huge breakfast which includes, among other things, bread, eggs, juice, coffee and fruits. Start your day with a healthy breakfast and a view over the jungle and the ocean! The private atmosphere is comfortable and Jan and Dana are really helpful with everything.
Uvita is a great place to explore the southern Pacific parts of Costa Rica. In Uvita there is the Marina Ballena National Park where you can book whale and dolphin tours. It is also possible to go snorkeling around this area, although the best place on the Pacific coast is Isla Caño.
It is also possible to book a tour to Corcovado National Park. Corcovado National Park is the second biggest in Costa Rica and worth a trip. If you have no car you can rent one in Uvita. After an approximately 1 hour drive you will reach Sierpe. In Sierpe, you will meet your guides and take a boat ride to Corcovado.
If you just want to relax and do nothing or if you want an adventurous trip, Uvita is the right place to be!
