    Harold Eugene Smith who was arrested for an expired tourist visa in Costa Rica during a routine check by Immigration Police, was found to be wanted in the U.S.by the FBI for the rape of a 13-year-old.

    News site,CRHoy.com, who obtained Smith’s immigration records, revealed that Smith had entered Costa Rica more than a dozen times prior to his arrest on June 2nd .

    Smith had been hiding out in Costa Rica using his real identity for 18 months.

    Smith posted bail on January 10th, 2011 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and his first visit to Costa Rica was on February 2nd, 2011, according to records.

    Smith is wanted on charges of aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, incest rape, and corruption of a minor.

    According to authorities, Smith will be deported back to the U.S. in the coming weeks.
