The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – For the renowned travel publication, Lonely Planet,  Costa Rica stands out as the location that is the  most accessible for contact with nature.

“One of the many tall trees above your head creaks and you raise your head to see a troop of white-faced monkeys eating fruit. A โ€˜monoโ€™ notices the presence of visitors and runs quickly on the branches while carrying a baby clinging to her back.”

Above is a description from Lonely Planet that visitors have had in the Costa Rica, which they claim is, “the easiest way to observe wildlife in Latin America”.

Lonely Planet notes that in one day tourists can explore the rainforest, visit a volcano and travel to the Pacific beaches where they can surf the waves.

It also says that visitors can revel in the Monteverde cloud forest,  which is full of colorful birds, insects and strange animals, and then head to the coast, where there are hidden rainforest sloths, snakes and raccoons, as well as crocodiles resting peacefully under the bridge over the Tempisque River.

The publication recommends a vacation period of at least 10 days for Costa Rica.
