Three Costa Rican races take on honorable causes this weekend.

Did you know that even a light jog can burn around 10 calories a minute? Or that physically active people are 60% less likely to develop Alzheimer’s? Most know the importance of exercise, but 1 out of 4 people in Costa Rica is still overweight!

Considering the oldest person to ever complete a marathon didn’t even start running until he was 89, I think it’s safe to say it’s never too late to start running. Plus, with three races throughout Costa Rica of various lengths and difficulties, this weekend may be the perfect time to get out there!
