The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – President Luis Guillermo Solis has condemned the attack on the French weekly magazine, Charlie Hebdo, that left 12 dead yesterday morning, including 10 journalists and two policemen.
The Costa Rican president says that the act is unacceptable and reprehensible. Solis also sent his condolences to the French people for the tragedy.
Luis Guillermo Solis issued the message to France a press conference from China where it is kept touring this week. He posted his regards and thoughts on Twitter as well:
Ninguna sociedad, ni ninguno de sus miembros, debe recurrir al miedo o al asesinato para imponer sus ideas o prejuicios. #CharlieHebdo

(Translation: No society, nor any of its members, must resort to fear or murder to impose their ideas or prejudices.)
