The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – China and India are the first two countries in which the new national brand Essential Costa Rica has been presented. A delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Trade ( Comex ) visited the cities of Xiamen, Shenzhen and Hangzhou in China, and they also plan to visit India. Essential Costa Rica was created to promote Costa Rica as an investment destination, which will be done gently and gradually.
The International Investment Forum is taking place in the framework of China´s International Fair for Investment and Trade , known as CIFIT, which was attended by the delegation of COMEX. There, the Foreign Trade Minister invited Chinese businessmen and investors to come to Costa Rica and highlighted the advantages offered by the country as an export platform to access international markets.
They introduced the country brand new video, which was also broadcasted by CCTV financial channel in all China. That same channel displayed an interview with the Costa Rican Forign Trade Minister about the benefits of Costa Rica in trade, investment and tourism.
The new country brand will be released in some European countries and in the city of New York, USA. EF
