I found my place in Sabana by the park – Mac’s American Sports Bar and Restaurant. Next time you’re looking for a great place to catch a game, make it yours. Mac’s has everything you need in an American Bar and Grill. Friendly bartenders are always looking to make sure that you’re well taken care of. There are three big screens and three other TV’s downstairs and the staff is helpful to make sure that you find whatever game or event you’re looking for. The upstairs has two great pool tables with a nice breeze coming in through the windows and a view of the park. It also has TV’s hanging for you to see what you want to.
What else does a great sports bar need? Great food. You will not be disappointed in any of Mac’s American fare. I personally love the burgers and the Caribbean rice and beans. My favorite burger is the T.C. Burger. It comes with mushrooms, bacon and Swiss cheese and a big side of fries. Delicious! Mac’s delivers when you want stand-out chicken wings. They come in Krispy, Zing, Buffalo or Honey-BBQ style. Mac’s also specializes in the best cuts of steak grilled perfectly to your favorite temperature. Chef Torres will do it up how you want it!
The thing that separates Mac’s from other Sports Bars in Costa Rica is the local flavor that the upstairs crowd brings. You can relax downstairs and catch a game or head upstairs, play some pool and meet some of the many friendly locals this Country has to offer.
