The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The first hamburger Californian restaurant Johnny Rockets will open in Costa Riva next September 27. It will be located at Lincoln Plaza, in Moravia. The restaurant will open from Sunday to Thursday from 11 am to 9 pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am to 11 pm.
The restaurant will generate between 30 and 40 jobs and required an investment of more than ¢ 250 million ($ 500,000). In addition, over the next year franchises will be opened in Escazú, Heredia and Alajuela.
Meanwhile, Johnny Rockets has about 300 restaurants in 30 U.S. states and 16 countries, and serves 17 million hamburgers a year.
It has become famous for selling secret recipe burgers, milk shakes and floats (ice cream with soft drinks such as Coca-Cola, Root Beer and Fanta) in an environment of the 50’s and 60’s, American version. EF
