San Jose [TCRN] – The fire department had to mobilize two fire trucks Pavas station and a paramedic unit to the community of San Antonio de Escazú, because of a structural fire.
Three houses and a store were affected by the flames until firefighters were able to contain the blaze about 11 am. Damage estimates include about 400 meters structures, according to the Fire Department.
The Costa Rican Red Cross sent a support unit to support the rescue firefighters on site. It was reported emergency care treated to two people for nervous breakdown.
Also reported four people with respiratory problems were also treated.
Two other homes were damaged partially. The fire was under controlled at 11:20 am.
