The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Experts predict that the year ahead will show a drastic rebound in the construction sector of Costa Rica.

This was explained by the President of the Association of Engineers and Architects, Luis Guillermo Pacheco, who said that by analyzing 2014 data, they expect a 15% growth in construction this year.

This is especially good news for employees in the sector, as experts foresee a lot of work this year.

He also said that a synergy between private buildings and implementing government stalled projects along with the modernization of laws is necessary to bring the industry to its full potential.

According to data, 2014 saw over eight million square meters (m2) of new construction, while in 2013, there was only about seven and a half million square meters recorded. (ADN)
