The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude-7.9 earthquake shook 3 KM North East of Samara region of Costa Rica early Monday morning 8:42 am. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
The geological survey says the quake, which hit at about 8:42 a.m. local time, was felt strongly in all parts of Costa Rica.
