The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Costa Rica has condemned the attack on a synagogue in the Orthodox neighborhood of Har Nof, Jerusalem, and expressed its solidarity with the families of the victims and the Israeli government.
“The government of Costa Rica would like to express its rejection and absolute condemnation of the attack in which five Israelis were killed, in one of the most heinous acts committed in recent years,” the Costa Rican foreign ministry said in a statement.
They also expressed solidarity and “heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the injured, the people and the authorities of the State of Israel.”
At least five people were killed by two Palestinians wielding meat cleavers and a gun at a synagogue and yeshiva (rabbinical school) in West Jerusalem in one of the bloodiest attacks that’s occurred since 2008 in the holy city. (EFE)
