The Costa Rica News (TCRN)-A major Catholic bishop of Costa Rica asked thousands of Catholic pilgrims to oppose two measures which seek to legalize in vitro fertilization and gay marriages.
Bishop José Francisco Ulloa called these bills “horrors” and asked Catholics to oppose them, for not doing so would be equivalent to betraying their values.
Ulloa made the call during the activities of the most important holiday in Costa Rica: the Catholic Pilgrimage, known as “Romeria” in Spanish and held once a year in Costa Rica during August 1 and 2.
Last Friday thousands of pilgrims returned home after walking all the way to Cartago, located 25 kilometers east of San José. BBC
