In Costa Rica I saw many beautiful places, and this park is one of the places I enjoy most. Extensive jungle trails that cross photogenic wooden bridges to end paradisiacal beaches. But if something I liked Manuel Antonio is the large amount of fauna that lives there and the close relationship that these animals with tourists. Volcano Arenal (A place you should not miss).
This beautiful place is located in the northwest region of Costa Rica.
From San José, it takes about 3 and a half hours to reach the small town of La Fortuna. From there, the National Park is approximately 45 minutes away, if you make excursions on the weekends. You have to walk about 6 kms to reach the point of view and 2 kms more if you want to reach the lava flows. During the tour, it is beautiful to see the Arenal Lagoon, the largest artificial reservoir in Costa Rica, you can also hear and observe birds and other mammals.
