    Amazon will be employing 2500 Costa Ricans to work in the branch offices around the country.

    Candidates must have a good command in English, Portuguese, French, and Italian. The company is also looking for administrators, economists, researchers and business managers.

    “Costa Rica is a country with a lot of talented people, that’s why we decided to continue investing in Costa Rican human resource. Five thousand people are working for Amazon at the present time” – said Alejandro Filloy, Amazon Costa Rica CEO.

    The first Amazon Costa Rica office was opened in Octuber 2008 and has been operating without problem since then. The branch has been supported by lots of customers from the United States, Spain, France, Italy, and Mexico.
