Costa Rica Job Fair to Offer 1000+ Jobs (Archive Photo)The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – 3,200 young Costa Ricans who do not have employment nor study participated this week in the job fair “Get a Job Challenge” aimed at finding a job to continue studying. This was announced today by the national director of employment of the Labor Ministry, Andres Romero.
Participants who attended the fair, which finished yesterday, are youngsters between 17 and 24 years old and are part of the near 40,000 young Costa Ricans who do not work nor study. This is the fourth edition of “Get a Job Challenge”, in which the government has already invested 40 million dollars. The program offers a scholarship to those who compromise to work and study until they finish their career.
1,000 youngsters are expected to finish their education this year. The activity counted with the participation of 18 private organizations and 21 public and private educational institutions. EFE
