Latin America News – The governments of Nicaragua and Venezuela agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two countries during a visit by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to Managua.
Maduro said that “now there will be more cooperation” in areas such as energy, food, finance and tourism.
This is the first visit of the Central American country Maduro after taking office as Venezuelan president six weeks ago.
Nicaragua is a member of the regional organization ALBA, Venezuela drives and includes countries such as Bolivia, Cuba and Ecuador.
