    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Today, December 27 in Canton, Costa Rica they will celebrate the seventh annual National Carnival 2013.

    For the year 2013 it is confirmed there will be 10 troupes, clowns, modified cars, stilts, five bands, Maroon, and masquerades. The event will begin at noon to start the two mile journey from the College of Our Lady, through the known Ancha de Gravillias Street and culminating in the Olympic Village.

    The carnival will be dedicated to the national team player Joel Campbell, who currently plays for Greek club Olympiakos, for his outstanding participation with the National Team and his time in European football.
