    Thousands of Tourists still Stranded in Mexico

    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Some 40,000 tourists remain stranded in resorts of Acapulco, on the Pacific coast of Mexico, after three days of intense winds and rains caused by Tropical Storm Manuel.

    The airport was affected by power cuts, while the highways leading to the city were flooded.

    There were also more devastation on the opposite coast of the country, the Gulf of Mexico, which was hit on Monday by Hurricane Ingrid.

    Dozens of people were killed across the country, mostly in the city of Acapulco.
